Title Tracks emerged in mid-2008 from the stillsmouldering ashes of Georgie James. After years of cowriting songs with Q And Not U, Georgie James and others, John Davis began to focus his energy exclusively on solo material.
On the Title Tracks debut single, Every Little Bit Hurts, John displays an almost scientific approach to song-writing. Bits and pieces and diverse influences culled from such wells as; a holy-grail-stocked record collection; a moonlighting gig as a radio disc jockey; and more than a decade of touring and recording in the US, Europe and beyond, have all served to hone John's musical vocabulary into a powerful and engaging instrument.

Das CUTE LEPPERS Debüt "Can't Stand Modern Music" vereinte die Attitüde des Punkrock, mit dem Style des Mod und dem polierten Sound des Pop. Das Album gewann den Award für das beste Punk Album in den Independent Music Awards. Der Nachfolger "Smart Accessories" droht mit 13 Punkpop-Klassikern in genau diese Fußstapfen zu treten.

The band that includes members of THE NO TALENTS, LES SYNAPSES, DUTRONC, CECILIA UND DIE SAUERKRAUTS & OPERATION S goes back to the sound of the French Beat & Roll when it was bitten by the Big Bad British Bug back in 1965. Imagine how THEM, THE SMALL FACES, THE YARDBIRDS or the early STONES wouldve sound if they were from France, never turned professionals and Van Morrison, Keith Relf or Mike Jagger were chicks. All the songs are in French, with that glamorous 'mademoiselle' accent!
The band could've been described best as the great french sixties rock band that should have existed but never did. Owing to cultural impediments and lame business practices, there were very few outstanding french rockers from that period. Ronnie Bird, Larry Greco, and a dozen others you've never heard of: LES TERRIBLES cover them all, and every song makes you wanna dance. The band rounds out their set with some originals, as well as their own french versions of some great foreign songs that never got adapted before, all done with a perfect ear for the style. Fronted by the charming and talented chanteuse Rudie this hard-working orchestre delivers the groove that gets the dance floor moving to the Swim, the Jerk, and the Hully-Gully. ENTERTAINMENT OVERKILL ist ein abwechslungsreicher Soundtrack für
hoffnungslos von hoffnungslos ewig 17jährigen, mit Einflüssen und
Zitaten von Adolescents, Buzzcocks, The Jam, Wipers, All & Descendents,
Replacements, Male, KFC usw, usw... Die Band nennt das BOTTROPOP!
Dazu gibt es einfache geradlinige deutsche Texte ohne Rumjammern und
Wehgeschrei, ohne studentische Kopflastigkeit, aber auch ohne "Yeah
Yeah, Rock-you-all-night-long"-Prolligkeit (und auch ganz ohne Saufen,
Raufen, Bierzelt-Party Kirmes-Punk...), stattdessen simple
kritisch-offensive Hit-Granaten, mal politisch, mal alltäglich, mal
hintergründig, mal plakativ und sarkastisch.
Unterstützung bei der Verpackung und Kommentierung ihrer Bottropop-Verse
bekam die Band diesmal von 2 Dutzend Punk-Schriftstellern, Slam-Poeten,
Krach-Literaten, Illustraten und Comic-Zeichnern. Zu jedem Song der
Platte gibt es eine entsprechende Kurzgeschichte im Booklet.
