The Caroloregians - hot blood in cold weather-Rechtzeitig zur USA- und Kanada-Tournee der beiden belgischen Acts The Moon Invaders und The Caroloregians im Juni 2010 veröffentlicht Jump Up Records aus Chicago eine Split-CD mit je acht teils raren (d.h. vor allem: bislang nur auf Vinyl 7" erschienen), teils unveröffentlichten Titeln. Grover Records wird dieses Album für den europäischen Markt importieren, zumal beide Bands dort seit langen Jahren eine feste musikalische Heimat gefunden haben. Rawside - widerstand PRE-ORDER-Am 12. Mai 1993 gründeten Ralle (Gitarre), Henne (Gesang), Eddie (Bass), Krisch (Drums) die Band RAWSIDE. Musikalisch orientiert man sich am klassischen aggressiven old-School Hardcore-Punk, mit meist politisch sehr stark linksorientierten Inhalten. Nach unzähligen Veröffentlichungen, Konzerten und Besetzungswechseln löst sich die Band 1998 auf und gründete sich 2002 mit leicht verändertem Lineup neu. 2006/07 musste die Band eine Tourpause einlegen, veröffentlichte aber Ihren Klassiker Staatsgewalt neu. Nach ausgiebigem Touren erneuten Besetzungswechseln begann man mit den Arbeiten an Widerstand im Jahr 2008. 6 Jahre nach dem letzten regulärem Album Outlaw präsentiert die bisher beständige Formation Ihr bestes Album. Textlich wie auch musikalisch wird hier ein zeitloses Hardcore Punk Meisterwerk abgeschossen was seinesgleichen sucht. 13 neue Songs die vom frühen Hardcore-Punk der 80er Jahre beeinflusst wurden jedoch das Soundgewand des neuen Milleniums besitzt. Subhumans - same thoughts different day-The Subhumans decided to meet the challenge to their ownership of their own material by rerecording all of the songs from the "Incorrect Thoughts" album, which they proceeded to do at the Hive Studios in Vancouver, assisted by Jesse Gander. Original members Brian Goble (vocals), Gerry Hannah (bass), Mike Graham (guitar), and newly-recruited drummer Jon Card (formerly with Personality Crisis, SNFU, and DOA among others) got together in 2005 to record a new album of original material, "New Dark Age Parade," for Alternative Tentacles and the band had reactivated into a live entity. The intent was neither to slavishly recreate the old recordings nor to radically reinterpret the songs, but updating the sounds and the recording techniques while maintaining the original spirit of the album. As a bonus, Subhumans recorded six additional songs from the same period for the second 12" of a two LP set, some of which had never been recorded before!
